Description
The “click” taper lever accurately allows you to change the closeness of your cut between guide comb lengths without “floating” into an unknown level. Moving or clicking the lever up for a closer cut, and down for a longer cut at specific positions along the side of the clipper. This is particularly helpful for beginner or barbers that want a specific setting when cutting.
When the taper lever is at the highest position it will pull the top blade closer to the other on the hair clippers and result in a shorter cut. A taper is when hair gradually changes from one length to another. A fade is a shorter taper that blends or fades into the skin—hence the name. Taper levers are situated on the side of hair clippers, conveniently placed to move with your thumb.
